Hyatt Regency Kyoto is designed entirely under the supervision of internationally acclaimed architect Takashi Sugimoto (Super Potato Co., Ltd.), with the concept of contemporary Japanese and portraying the beauty of Japanese tradition. Guests can enjoy three creative, stylish restaurants and bars at Hyatt Regency Kyoto. Each restaurant features the freshest produce from local market, the natural flavour of each ingredient as well as an innovative and relaxing atmosphere.

 

THE GRILL

THE GRILL features prime cuts of beef and fresh seafood cooked simply and dynamically in wood-burning ovens, which you can enjoy while savouring the delicious aromas that waft from our open kitchen. The restaurant is designed in a contemporary Japanese style, and features a wine cellar -wall that stocks selected wines from all over the world. Experience the chef’s creativity, which brings out the natural flavours of the ingredients, while looking out over the Japanese Garden.

trattoria sette

trattoria sette serves authentic and simple Italian cuisine in a casual atmosphere. From Naples-style pizza baked in a high-temperature oven to freshly boiled pastas, we present the taste of Italian home cooking in the Hyatt style. Facing Shichijo Street, the restaurant also offers a pastry boutique and an espresso bar where you can stop by to savour a variety of desserts made form seasonal fruit, focaccias and freshly baked house breads.

Touzan

Modeled after a traditional Kyoto home and divided into three culinary environments, Touzan offers guests the feeling of being in a secluded Kyoto’s backstreet the moment you step inside. We offer three different dining experiences: a Charcoal Sumiyaki Grills, a Sushi and the Touzan Bar, providing you the relaxing experience of enjoying dishes cooked with the natural flavours of Kyoto’s seasonal ingredients. You also have a choice of five individually designed semi-private rooms, and a private room where you can admire the Japanese Garden while you enjoy your food. The cozy bar is innovatively decorated with antique dishes, old wood beams and antique books, and offers everything from high-quality whiskeys and various cocktails to local Kyoto beers, house saké and more than 30 different kinds of premium sakés including 13 local Kyoto brands.
