| TEXT: | It is said that the best time to visit Ginkakuji Temple is in the fall, when the beauty of Mt. Higashiyama's autumn leaves can be viewed directly from the temple. The famous drawings by Buson Yosa and Taiga Ikeno on Hondo's sliding doors are open for public viewing only during this period. Dojinsai, a 4.5 tatami-size writing room within Togudo, a national treasure, is also available for viewing. |
