This tea ceremony can be traced back to Shogun Hideyoshi, who was said to have treated his generals to tea to improve their morale in battle.  The venue is decorated with the flag and helmet of the Hideyoshi family crest.  The ceremony includes coffee and tea at Ishibei-koji, dim sum at Hashiba, and admission to the temple’s Sho Museum.
