| TEXT: | Airing books and clothing on a dry day in mid-summer as a prevention against insect damage and mold is known as “Mushi Boshi” or “Mushi Barai.” As Shinnyodo is the historic temple of the Tendai sect of Buddhism’s Sanmon group, rare treasures of the temple will be displayed to the public as they are being aired. Biwa yu will be served to help the summer heat escape. |
