TEXT:   The Sagicho Ritual is said to have been performed since the Muromachi period, approximately 600 years ago. Three bamboos, with three Gicho (a hammer to hit balls), fans and strips of paper bound around them, are set up on the ground and burned. As the fire rises up to 5 meters, people pray for a full of good health in all year.
