| TEXT: | A large-scale radish boiling is performed in the square at the Okuno-in Konjikifudou-do Hall on the first day of the horse (according to the Chinese zodiac) every February. Radishes produced organically by farmers from Ohara area are boiled and served to visitors for free, to pray for sound health and good luck for the year. These radishes, cooked and offered with the warmest hospitality, are so tasty that you should not miss them. |
