| TEXT: | As is mentioned in one of the famous works of Japanese poetry, people used to pluck fresh leaves at the beginning of spring as a present for which they really care and wish those people’s good health.At the Jonanrikyu-saikan Hall, in relation to the “Chapter Wakana” of Genji Tales, seven herbs of spring are dedicated to God, and visitors have rice porridge with the seven herbs to pray for sound health during the year and long life.The shrine attracts a number of visitors every year. |
