TEXT:		Hokyoji Temple is where daughters of the Imperial Family stayed in the past, and it has a large collection of historic dolls donated by the Imperial Palace. The temple is also known as “Ningyodera,” or “the Temple of Dolls.” It holds memorial services for dolls from across the country. This annual memorial service is held on October 14. Various services are held for the dolls. * Dolls can be submitted at the temple's reception on the day of the service or mailed to the temple in advance.
