| TEXT: | Tentokuin Temple, known as the temple of bellflowers, is a popular spot located at Tofukuji Temple. Beautiful tsuwabuki (Japanese silverleaf) bloom in glorious yellow in early November. During the autumn, you can also enjoy the magnificent contrast of colored leaves and hair moss in the garden, as well as the vegetarian Buddhist dish momiji-zen (“autumn leaves”). The meal costs 3,000 yen and is served between 11 am to 2 pm. Advanced reservations are required. |
