TEXT:   Koudaiji Temple is a historical temple founded in 1606 by Kitano Mandokoro Nene, who dedicated it to her husband Hideyoshi Toyotomi after his death. Starting January 12, and only on weekends and with a reservation, tea, coffee and Kyoto dishes will be served at Koudaiji Temple, while visitors will be welcomed to the illuminated gardens (Kodai-ji Entoku-in) and Sho Museum.
