TEXT:		Kyoto Arashiyama Hana-Toro road, which has been popular as an early winter attraction in Kyoto, will be held again this year. Roji andon (alley lanterns) and Japanese flora art will bring together nature, waterfront, and historic cultural heritage. The area around the Togetsukyo Bridge and Chikurin-no-Komichi (bamboo grove pathway) will be lit up and filled with a fantastical atmosphere. Moreover, neighboring temples, shrines, and cultural facilities will be exceptionally lit up and open to the public. A variety of events are held including small concerts in a few venues.
